Oldies but not softies

A couple of old favourite four-wheel drives have been through the garage and a litthe bush of late, there is not a great deal all-new about the Suzuki Vitara or Nissan Patrol but the pair remain faithful off-road machine.

There is a diesel version of the Vitara coming next year while the Patrol has a three-litre, turbo-diesel with common-rail fuel injection.

Suzuki's A-Star of India

In A move that shows the strengthening position of the Indian car market in the world, Suzuki will unveil its A-StarNew Delhi next month and build the production version on the sub-continent.

The five-door hatchback concept will form the basis of its next global production car and Queensland Suzuki importers think it would do well here.
